Network: To remain consistently successful, strong partners are crucial. eCAPITAL has an excellent, extensive network which includes many partnerships, alliances and co-operations.
 
The strategic partnership with the KfW puts eCAPITAL in an excellent position. The KfW-Mittelstandsbank does not co-operate often as fund investor with German VC-companies. In this case, the KfW is a cornerstone investor in Fund I as well as Fund II of the eCAPITAL AG. Before, eCAPITAL already was associated for years with the tbg, which was incorporated into the KfW upon its founding.
Additionally, eCAPITAL has a close collaboration with the NRW.Bank, which deepened with the founding of the Gründerfonds (founder fund) Bielefeld-Ostwestfalen. Due to its seed-fund initiative, NRW.Bank is a cornerstone investor of the Gründerfonds, which is managed by eCAPITAL. More information about the Gründerfonds can be found here.
Strong alliances: Additionally, eCAPITAL cultivates several alliances with consulting firms, banks and issuing houses, VC partners and M&A agencies. These partners support eCAPITAL in supervising and assisting associated companies. They also help with the so-called deal flow.
 
  
Network organizations: Furthermore, eCAPITAL is a member of the German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association BVK as well as the European Private Equity & Venture Capital Association EVCA. We have close and successful co-operations with network organizations such as the BAND/BAAR or the HighTech-Gründerfonds. These co-operations offer the opportunity for interesting network contacts, positive synergies and up to date deal flows.
Investors network: It is also extremely important that a large number of eCAPITAL's investors are entrepreneurs or former entrepreneurs who are also members of various organizations. Many are also Business Angels. Thus, there is another network at eCAPITAL's disposal, if need be.
