When choosing our investments we pay close attention to the additional customer value of the technology, process, or product.
Additional customer value is generated, e.g. through:

  • efficiency and productivity improvement
  • cost cutting or energy savings
  • new distribution channels or markets

A unique selling proposition (USP) is crucial for our investments.

Furthermore, we put great emphasis on the team. We are looking for a motivated, skilled and committed management team, able to maximize potential to the fullest. Moreover, reasonable manufacturing costs as well as promising target markets and attractive exit possibilities are crucial for a successful investment.

As long as it is possible and sensible, eCAPITAL aims to cooperate with strong partners, e.g. established VC-companies, in Germany or abroad, or with the ERP Gründerfonds (founder fund) from the KfW (Reconstruction Loan Corporation). Since eCAPITAL is an accredited partner, we are able to accompany financing rounds from the High-Tech Gründerfonds (founder fund) as lead investor and adviser.
