The Variowell Development GmbH is an innovative start-up in Münster which Tobias Kirchhoff founded in 2008. Due to its patented technology, Variowell is able to adjust the elasticity and firmness of polyurethane foams through temperature control respectively temperature regulation. This constitutes a new principle and makes the dynamic customization of existing products possible.

Earnings from the marketing of this principle are generated on the one hand through the production and distribution of own products. On the other hand revenue is made by licensing adequate partners.

The first commercial application of the Variowell principle resulted in the mattress 'Geneva NG' which can be regulated in different degrees of elasticity.

Other applications are being developed and headed to marketability.
