Smarthouse GmbH is a provider of innovative living concepts. It was founded in 2008 in Bünde, Westfalen in Germany. To live up to the requirements of changing living situations or the growing need of fast and easy living as well as office space, Smarthouse develops and produces modules which can be combined in any desired way. They arrive move-in-ready and are assembled and disassembled within a few hours. The innovative design, special assembly, and use of natural raw materials allow for pleasant living conditions with very good climate and sound insulation.

The smart houses are used as living space for one to two people, as vacation home, garden or guest house, annex to existing buildings or as extraordinary event location. Even bigger projects, such as residential homes, are fast and easy customizable.

The seed fund 'Gründerfonds Bielefeld-Ostwestfalen', which is managed by eCAPITAL, invested in 2009 in Smarthouse.
