4JET was established in February 2006 by Jörg Jetter. Today the company supplies laser systems for surface treatment to the tire industry, other automotive suppliers and the photovoltaics industry. 
 
A team of physicists, engineers and technicians, including administration, sales and service, develops turnkey solutions for cleaning, decoating and engraving of surfaces. Their customer base includes 8 of the global Top 10 tire makers as well as technology leaders in the field of photovoltaics.

Their application laboratory is equipped with several CO2, Nd:YAG and Excimer lasers for sample testing. Professional project management, an ISO 9001:2000 certified quality management system and a network of qualified suppliers guarantee the quality of their products and processes.  
4Jet’s international customer base in Europe, Asia and North America is being served by a network of sales partners. Since June 2007 they are cooperating with Mitsubishi International GmbH – a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation (Tokyo) – and make use of their network of more than 200 branch offices around the globe.
